About You
- Proven track record in B2B business development, sales, or account acquisition
- Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and business decision-makers
- Strong consultative sales approach with the ability to identify client needs
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working in a proactive sales environment
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Resilient and capable of maintaining momentum through the full sales cycle
- Previous exposure to financial services, professional services, tax, grants, or regulated sectors would be advantageous
- Organised and confident using CRM systems to manage opportunities and pipeline activity
The Role
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across the UK and Republic of Ireland
- Build relationships with business owners, Managing Directors, Finance Directors, and senior decision-makers
- Promote the firm's R&D Tax Relief and Grant Funding services through a consultative approach
- Generate and qualify new opportunities, managing prospects through the sales pipeline
- Arrange and attend client meetings, both virtually and in person where required
- Work closely with technical consultants to develop tailored funding solutions
- Maintain accurate records of business development activity within the CRM system
- Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets while upholding the firm's compliance standards
- Represent the business professionally and contribute to its ongoing market growth
