Overview
Credit Risk Lead Architect - Vice President Credit Risk Technology (CRT), a division of Risk, Finance and Treasury Technology (RFT), based in London. This role is part of Deutsche Bank's Credit Risk Management division and focuses on delivering high value, enterprise grade technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with and provide guidance to a team of architects, engineers and product owners to produce best of breed designs and architecture documentation, while championing architecture governance processes.
- Understand the enterprise system landscape to propose solution designs to problems in the right area of the Bank.
- Design and develop reference implementations, proof of concepts and architecturally critical components across a range of technologies.
- Work closely with business owners, architects and engineers to ensure optimal design of Credit Risk Systems to support all use cases.
- Define and champion best practice software development standards in line with the firm's standards and industry best practices.
Skills & Experience
- Knowledge of Financial Services, with a good understanding of Corporate and Investment Banking Products and processes.
- Experience with middle office systems such as Risk Management highly desirable; appetite to expand financial services knowledge.
- Software development experience in an object oriented language (Java preferred); exposure to Python, Spark, Map Reduce, Scala advantageous.
- Deep knowledge of RDBMS (Oracle 11g 26ai preferred), including multi terabyte database design, ETL, OLAP, OLTP and data warehousing concepts, as well as Big Data and NoSQL solutions.
- Exposure to cloud products, GCP preferred, including Terraform.
- Exposure to DevOps skills such as Jenkins, Git, Confluence, and integration with LLMs / AI / Machine Learning.
- Experience in TDD, BDD, CI/CD and DevOps principles; experience with Scrum, Kanban or XP.
- Familiarity with scaled agile development approaches beneficial.
