This is the jobThis is a great opportunity for someone who wants to make a visible impact in a business where data is central to decision making, customer outcomes, risk management and operational performance. You'll help lead the rollout and maturity of our Data Governance Framework, working closely with business stakeholders, data teams, privacy, information security and risk colleagues to improve the quality, transparency and value of our core data assets.
You'll be joining a small, collaborative Data Governance team, so this role will suit someone who is comfortable operating at both strategic and hands on levels. You'll lead governance activity, manage priorities, support the development of standards and processes, and act as a trusted point of escalation for data governance, data quality and data protection matters.
You'll work with the Head of Data Governance and Management to continue the rollout and evolution of The AA's Data Governance Framework, including associated tools, processes and maturity roadmap. The role is responsible for improving transparency and quality across governed data, including definitions, ownership, lineage, RACI, quality scoring and business cases for fixing data quality issues at source.
