We have an upcoming 20-hour Band 3 fixed term vacancy within the Borders Sexual Health Service.
Responsibilities
- Work from the main base at Galashiels Health Centre and at other NHS Borders sites for peripheral clinics.
- Act as front line reception: answer the telephone, manage appointments, greet service users on arrival and check them in.
- Create and send clinical letters and referrals.
- Assist nursing and medical staff during procedures to support both staff and patients.
- Clean clinical rooms and equipment and order/ manage stock supplies.

Qualifications
- Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle, as daily travel will be essential.
- Have a genuine interest in sexual health/contraception and a respectful approach to patient confidentiality.
