Job Description

DWS Group is seeking an Equity Financing/Debt Advisory Manager to join its Infrastructure Investments team in London.

Overview

As part of DWS Alternatives, the Infrastructure division manages debt and equity investments in infrastructure companies across transport, energy, utilities, digital, circular economy and healthcare sectors. The role supports the "Pan European Infrastructure Fund" and "Sustainable Growth Infrastructure Fund" strategies.

Responsibilities
  • Support financing and hedging strategies for new acquisitions across the Infrastructure Equity portfolio.
  • Develop and execute refinancing strategies to optimise capital structure.
  • Engage directly with lenders, advisors, lawyers, rating agencies and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor debt exposure and maintain lender relationships.
  • Support wider debt and advisor relationships.
  • Assist with future fund raising processes, responding to investor queries and providing accurate asset information.
  • Prepare and present Investment Committee papers and portfolio valuation/asset management reports from a financing perspective.
  • Build, review, and update financial models when required.
Qualifications
  • Solid experience in Infrastructure Financing, Project Finance or Leverage Finance at a leading bank, debt fund or independent advisor.
  • Strong understanding of debt products, financing principles and lending markets.
  • Credit background, experience in credit positioning and writing internal credit documents.
  • Full debt raising process knowledge for acquisitions and refinancings.
  • Experience with interest rate and FX hedging, working with rating agencies.
  • Understanding of the full investment life cycle from origination to disposal.
  • Strong analytical and cash flow modelling skills.
  • Degree in a related financial subject or relevant professional experience.
  • Proficiency in another European language (beneficial).
