The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Application Support Engineer with strong IT support expertise and in depth knowledge of Redwood RunMyJobs and integrations.
You will be a senior member of a specialist team responsible for the implementation, ongoing support, optimisation and future development of Birmingham's primary enterprise scheduling and automation platform. This is a business critical application, responsible for executing and orchestrating a high volume of automated processes and file transfers across the organisation that a number of business critical applications depend on. The role carries significant responsibility for ensuring service stability, performance, resilience, and continuous improvement of the scheduling environment.
In return, you will join a large-scale, technically complex environment where your work directly supports critical services across the city. You will have the opportunity to influence how services are delivered, contribute to system and process improvements as well as playing a key role in maintaining and evolving our application estate. This is a role for someone who is comfortable operating at a senior level within application support, with the technical capability and experience to take ownership of systems and drive service quality.
