Working 36.5 hours per week.
We are seeking an individual with experience working in a busy IT application support environment, ideally with NEC Housing and related systems. Experience within local government or a similarly complex organisation would be highly beneficial.
This role offers the opportunity to support Birmingham City Council's Housing and Property applications, working closely with both technical and operational teams to deliver reliable and effective digital services.
As part of the Digital & Technology Services (DTS) Applications team, you will support a range of business critical systems, ensuring they remain stable, secure, and aligned with business needs. You will work within a live support environment, assisting with incident resolution, supporting system integrations, and contributing to the continuous improvement of the application estate.
Working closely with Senior Application Support Engineers, DTS colleagues, business stakeholders, and external suppliers, you will contribute to the ongoing development and resilience of services, ensuring they are well supported and capable of meeting future demands.
