About the role:
Work within the development team to extend and expand upon the extensive statistical, time series and machine learning capabilities of our data analytics portfolio.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, physics, computer science, or other numerical technical discipline
- Minimum 4 years of experience writing high quality C++ code for enterprise applications
- Understanding higher level mathematical and statistical research papers and implementing those algorithms in a robust and scalable manner
- Logical problem solving approach with clear communication of solutions to the wider team
- Familiarity with statistical, econometric time series, machine learning, or other mathematical algorithms and their uses
- Master's or PhD degree in a mathematical discipline (preferred)
- Minimum 6 years of experience in a software engineering or research environment (plus)
- Experience with other programming languages in the data analytics and numerical space (Matlab, R, Python, SAS)
- Highly self motivated to learn
- Commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and team working skills
- Good oral and written communication skills in fluent English
- Strong organizational skills
