Siemens Bank is seeking a Loan Administrator to join its London team on a 12-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave. Working within a collaborative and international environment, you'll play a key role in supporting the administration and settlement of syndicated loan transactions while contributing to ongoing process improvement and digitalisation initiatives. As a Loan Administrator, you'll be responsible for managing the operational lifecycle of syndicated loan transactions, working closely with Treasury, Accounting, Risk Management, Legal teams, and external banking partners to ensure efficient and accurate execution. Key Responsibilities Review syndicated loan agreements from an operational perspective. Efficiently onboard and maintain deals within LoanIQ . Process and approve daily loan administration activities, including drawdowns, rollovers, repayments and fee payments. Book trades and transactions within LoanIQ from inception through to settlement. Proactively monitor and manage pending trades to minimise settlement times. Review, understand and draft LMA-standard trade documentation, including, Trade Confirmations, Transfer Certificates and Assignment Agreements Work closely with Legal teams where needed to support documentation processes. Support the closing and settlement of primary and secondary market transactions. Liaise daily with Treasury, Accounting and Risk Management teams to process transactions and resolve operational queries. Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders across an international banking environment. Contribute to automation, digitalisation and process improvement initiatives. Support team development by sharing knowledge and mentoring colleagues on more complex operational topics. What We're Looking For We're keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate: Experience within the syndicated loan market , ideally in loan administration or loan operations. Strong understanding of syndicated loan processes and transaction lifecycles. Experience closing and booking both primary transactions and secondary trading activities. Familiarity with LMA standards and associated documentation. Excellent communication skills and intercultural awareness, with the ability to collaborate effectively across international teams. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and make sound, fact-based decisions. A proactive approach, high level of self-motivation and exceptional attention to detail. Knowledge of LoanIQ and ClearPar would be advantageous. What can we offer?
