The PACS/Imaging Systems Administrator for The HLH Imaging Group will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of PACS/Imaging IT processes within the organisation. This position involves providing support to the Imaging Informatics Manager by managing support tickets, data entry, teamwork and contributing to the overall operational running of the company
Main duties of the job
- Support daily operation of imaging informatics IT platforms (PACS/RIS).
- Manage and maintain training environments for new radiologists.
- Create and administer user accounts.
- Contribute to monthly PACS/IT rota responsibilities.
- Manage thoracic and cardiac workflows, including allocation and report tracking.
- Provide technical and operational support to colleagues across NHS and private hospitals.
- Assist with troubleshooting, multitasking, and reprioritising tasks as needed.
- Participate in flexible working patterns, including weekend availability.

Job responsibilities
- Work under the discretion of the Imaging Informatics Manager and Senior PACS Systems Specialist. The nature of the role and responsibilities will be fluid and the below is a guide only. Some of the roles described may become the sole or main responsibility of the candidate, others may change from time to time.
- Have core knowledge of Imaging informatics, including principles around PACS / RIS systems.
- Support colleagues in the day to day running of the various IT platforms.
- Support the training of new radiologists by managing and maintaining training environments in our IT platforms.
- Support or take on the role of the monthly PACS rota.
- Be responsible for the creation and management of new user accounts.
- Manage non-lung screening thoracic cardiac and prostate workflows including tracking of allocation and reports.
- Have the ability to truly multitask across a range of processes and tasks every day, with the ability to re-prioritise work as requested or needed.
- Be highly organised, can track, work through and come back to different threads and workstreams.
- Having knowledge of Cimar UK Ltd and / or HaloITSM would be desirable but not essential.
- Comfortable working from home across a range of accounts with good communication skills, interacting with a range of personnel internally, across NHS and private hospitals.
- Comfortable commuting to the central London office as and when required.
- Job will require a rolling rota of weekend work.
- Company will provide appropriate training and equipment.
Person Specification Experience
- Previous experience working with PACS/RIS systems.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and reprioritise effectively.
- Experience in user account administration and IT system support.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for working with NHS and private hospital staff.
- Comfortable with remote & office working and collaborating across teams.
- Willingness to undertake training and learn new systems as required.
- Knowledge of Cimar UK Ltd and/or HaloITSM platforms.
- Familiarity with NHS and private hospital workflows and processes.
- Experience supporting clinical training environments or educational IT systems.
- Background in IT support or health informatics.
