Senior Cloud Platform Engineer

Senior Cloud Platform Engineer role located in any UK Bupa office, full time, 37.5 hours per week. Salary from £57,800 per annum plus bonus. Job Area: IT. Locations: London, Staines - Willow House.

The role focuses on designing, building and maintaining cloud based platforms, ensuring reliability, security and scalability, and collaborating with engineering, security and operations teams.

• Design, build and maintain cloud-based platforms and infrastructure.
• Support reliability, performance and security of systems.
• Develop automated processes to improve efficiency and consistency.
• Work closely with engineering teams to enable smooth delivery of applications.
• Monitor systems and respond to issues to ensure service continuity.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of platform capabilities.
• Ensure solutions align with best practice and internal standards.
• Share knowledge and support colleagues within the team.

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP).
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure, automation and platform engineering.
• Confidence using tools for monitoring, deployment and configuration.
• Experience with scripting or programming languages (Python, PowerShell or similar).
• Understanding of security, reliability and performance considerations.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
