MyMFT Senior Application Analyst

As a Hive EPR - Senior Analyst, you will work within the Hive EPR & Digital Applications department to design, configure and modify the Epic system, ensuring it supports clinical and operational best practice standards and meets statutory, operational and clinical audit reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with clinical, administrative and managerial staff to analyse and document current and future workflows.
  • Match workflow requirements to existing EPR functions or facilitate changes in working practice.
  • Modify the EPR system using configuration tools to enhance patient care and Trust operations.
  • Collaborate with the Business Intelligence team to ensure system configuration supports statutory and audit reporting.
  • Participate in system testing to confirm safety, usability, security and robustness.
  • Provide day to day support to end users through meetings, incident investigation and resolution.
  • Act as a change management specialist, engaging clinicians and staff in reviewing practices and communicating changes.
  • Represent the service team at management and stakeholder meetings, acting as an ambassador for Hive EPR & Digital Applications.
  • Support the implementation of the Trust's digital strategy throughout the programme lifecycle.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Degree or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Experience in clinical, administrative or operational workflows within a hospital or NHS environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and NHS information standards.
  • Experience communicating complex issues to varied audiences.
  • Organisational, planning and presentation skills.
  • Analytical skills for diagnosing problems and proposing solutions.
  • Proficiency with keyboard and VDU use.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, work independently and manage workload.
  • Team player attitude with strong interpersonal and listening skills.
  • Ability to operate at both high level summary and detailed levels.
  • Experience with change management and training staff.
  • Project management or postgraduate qualification in a relevant area (e.g., Clinical Systems Implementation).
  • Knowledge of Lean & Six Sigma, GDPR, information governance and health care IT systems.
  • Travel to all MFT Trust sites and availability for 24/7 or on call support during go live periods.

Salary

£49,387 to £56,515 a year, pro rata.
