SQL Reporting & Power BI Manager
Real Estate London (5 days onsite)
£80,000 + excellent bonus + outstanding pension
SystemsAccountants is partnering with a Real Estate organisation to recruit a SQL Reporting & Power BI Manager to strengthen their finance systems and data capability. This is a high impact, hands on role based full-time in the client's London office, supporting a complex real estate portfolio and working closely with finance, technology and senior stakeholders.
Our client is looking for a technically strong reporting specialist with a solid accounting/finance background, strong SQL expertise and proven experience within real estate or property management systems.
The Role
You will take ownership of SQL-based reporting, data integration and analytics across the finance systems landscape. This includes building and maintaining robust reporting solutions, managing integrations with third party finance applications, and ensuring strong governance, security and performance across the environment.
This role suits someone who enjoys operating at the intersection of finance, data and systems, and who can translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities Data, SQL & Reporting
- Design, develop and maintain advanced SQL-based reporting solutions.
- Manage and administer SQL Server environments.
- Create, schedule and monitor SQL Jobs.
- Develop and optimise:
- Stored Procedures
- Triggers
- Views
- Maintain and manage SQL Server Management Studio environments.
Microsoft Fabric & Power BI
- Develop and manage reporting solutions using Microsoft Fabric.
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for finance and senior stakeholders.
- Develop data models and transformations using Power Query.
- Design and support SQL-based ETL processes.
Integration & Automation
- Manage API connections and integrations.
- Deliver and maintain integrations with third-party finance applications, including:
- Own end to end data integration workflows.
- Drive automation and performance optimisation across reporting and data processes.
Systems & Domain Expertise
- Support finance systems within a real estate environment, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Partner closely with finance teams to understand accounting, reporting and control requirements.
User Access & Security
- Manage user access across systems.
- Implement and maintain role based security models.
- Support governance, controls and audit requirements.
Required Background & Experience
- Strong accounting or finance background.
- Proven experience in the real estate industry prefered but not essential.
- Advanced SQL reporting and database management experience.
- Strong Power BI and Microsoft Fabric capability.
- Experience integrating finance systems via APIs.
- Comfortable owning solutions end to end in a complex finance systems landscape.
