Responsibilities
- Providing first-line IT support to staff and students across the school
- Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues efficiently
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining computers, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment
- Supporting classroom technology, interactive displays, and audiovisual equipment
- Assisting with user account management, passwords, and access permissions
- Monitoring and maintaining the school's network and IT systems
- Supporting the rollout of new hardware and software across the school
- Maintaining accurate records of IT assets, repairs, and support requests
Qualifications
- Has previous experience in an IT support or technician role
- Has strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Possesses a good understanding of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, and network systems
- Is organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Communicates confidently with both technical and non-technical users
- Works well independently and as part of a wider team
- Previous experience within a school or educational setting is desirable but not essential
