Job Description

Discover yourself in Lewisham where what you do makes a difference to our vibrant and culturally diverse communities!

We have a rich history of welcoming people from all over the world and are proud to be recognised as the UK's first Borough of Sanctuary, for our work in championing the rights of refugees and migrants.

Introduction

Are you a strong analytical thinker who can turn complex data into clear, actionable insight?

Do you have experience working across multiple organisations to coordinate data sharing and integration?

Are you confident using tools like Excel and Power BI to generate meaningful reporting and dashboards?

Can you navigate information governance confidently, ensuring data is used ethically, securely and effectively?

What's the role?

As Data Integration Lead, you will drive the data strategy for the Elevate 100 programme, ensuring data is used to inform service design, delivery and system-wide change.

You will lead data sharing and integration across partners, including piloting cross-system working between the Council, NHS and DWP.

Working closely with delivery teams and evaluators, you will generate insight, support performance reporting, and embed data-led improvement.

You'll also explore the use of new technologies, including AI, to enhance reporting and decision making.

What's in it for you?

Excellent training and development opportunities, plus a range of benefits including:

  • Local Government Pension scheme
  • Flexible working and family friendly policies
  • Season ticket and bicycle loans
  • A range of staff discounts including local subsidised gym memberships
  • Supportive staff networks
What we're looking for

You will bring strong analytical capability and the ability to translate data into practical recommendations that improve services.

You'll be experienced in working across partners, building relationships and aligning different data needs into shared approaches.

You will have a solid understanding of information governance and data sharing principles in a multi agency context.

Confident using Excel and Power BI, you will produce high quality reporting and dashboards that support decision making.

You'll be organised, collaborative and able to manage competing priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail.

A commitment to equality, inclusion and using data responsibly to avoid bias will be central to how you work.

Location

The job is primarily based at Elevate 100 in Downham Health and Leisure Centre, but we operate a hybrid approach where you will be required to work both in the office and from home on a regular basis.
