What you'll do:

• Deliver top-notch customer service by resolving technical issues and keeping customers in the loop
• Troubleshoot LAN/WAN connectivity problems, and collaborate with field engineers to fix hardware like routers, switches, and Wi Fi APs
• Use tools such as Solarwinds and Extreme XIQ to track down problems
• Manage incidents and request tickets on ServiceNow with precision, escalating to senior engineers when needed
• Assist with hardware and vendor management, ensuring swift resolution of faults

What you'll need to apply:

• At least 1 years' support experience in a busy, customer focused service desk or NOC environment
• Solid understanding of LAN/WAN technologies
• A networking qualification like CCNA (or working towards it) is a big plus
• Strong communication - clear, calm and customer focused
• Flexibility to work in our Solihull office on shift patterns between 7am and 7pm, mainly Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend shifts on a rota basis
• Ability to obtain BPSS, SC, and NPPV3 clearance for this role

The nitty gritty:

• Full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (shifts of 7 3:30 / 9 5:30 & 10:30 7)
• A requirement to work weekends on a rota basis but days off given in the week and overtime paid for additional hours
• Office based role
