We're supporting a specialist technology and engineering business in Derbyshire with the appointment of an experienced Applications Test Engineer for an initial 6-12 month contract. You'll be testing Windows-based applications used within complex networking and communications environments. This is a hands-on testing role covering everything from application functionality and usability through to integration with network-connected devices. You'll work alongside software and systems engineers within an established technical team, helping ensure applications and associated systems perform reliably before release. Due to the secure nature of the projects, this assignment is 100% onsite in Derbyshire . The Role You'll be responsible for testing Windows desktop applications and the way they interact with wider networking systems and devices. Typical responsibilities will include: Creating and executing test cases and test procedures. Functional, regression, system and integration testing. Testing Windows/.NET desktop applications.
