Job Description

NAPA Auto Parts UK & Ireland is a leading provider of high quality parts, tools, and equipment for light vehicle mechanics and automotive enthusiasts.

We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) who is specifically accountable for delivering sales and margin growth for your customer base.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships within a targeted territory.
  • Develop sales strategies and tactics tailored to the required territory.
  • Communicate effectively with Branch, Regional, and Senior Management.
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, field based trainers, and product managers.
  • Analyse business intelligence software to drive performance.
  • Influence branch management and the sales team to achieve goals.
Qualifications
  • Customer focused approach with excellent selling skills.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Commercial awareness and knowledge of competitor activity and market conditions.
  • Extensive experience with customer account management.
  • Previous experience delivering sales and margin growth in a B2B environment.
  • Experience in finding and developing new business.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure towards deadlines.
