We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) who is specifically accountable for delivering sales and margin growth for your customer base.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships within a targeted territory.
- Develop sales strategies and tactics tailored to the required territory.
- Communicate effectively with Branch, Regional, and Senior Management.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, field based trainers, and product managers.
- Analyse business intelligence software to drive performance.
- Influence branch management and the sales team to achieve goals.
Qualifications
- Customer focused approach with excellent selling skills.
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
- Commercial awareness and knowledge of competitor activity and market conditions.
- Extensive experience with customer account management.
- Previous experience delivering sales and margin growth in a B2B environment.
- Experience in finding and developing new business.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure towards deadlines.
