As a Pharmacy Administrator within the Education and Training team, you will contribute directly to the delivery of high-quality, patient-focused care by ensuring the smooth running of administrative processes. Key responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive, confidential administrative and secretarial support to the Pharmacy Services Education and Training team
- Organise and coordinate meetings and training events, including booking venues and preparing documentation
- Prepare agendas, collate papers, take minutes and ensure actions are followed up promptly
- Manage diaries, communications and act as the first point of contact for telephone, email and face to face enquiries
- Maintain accurate records and update HR systems, including SSTS and eESS
- Liaise effectively with internal departments, external partners and stakeholders at all levels
- Support the monitoring and progress of training programmes and projects, ensuring deadlines are met
Knowledge, training, qualifications and/or experience required to do the job
- HNC/SVQ III in Secretarial Studies/Business Administration or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages with ECDL or equivalent qualification or experience
- Proven experience in an administrative or project support role within a busy office environment
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels
- Ability to work independently using initiative while also contributing effectively as part of a team
- Flexible approach with the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
