Software Engineer

We're looking for experienced developers with strong technical, mentoring and client communication skills, and a passion for finding great solutions through technology.

You have 3+ years' experience and a breadth & depth of technical knowledge & expertise, and can solve technical challenges across front end, back end and infrastructure.

• C# (Front and backend)
• .Net (Front and backend)
• MS SQL
• AWS and Azure

You are a fast learner who can quickly become effective in unfamiliar tech stacks and situations, and can rapidly acquire client/sector knowledge.

You have a good understanding of best practice principles for technical architecture, and are comfortable applying these in unfamiliar situations to design new systems.

You are a strong communicator, who can explain technical concepts effectively to non-technical people and impress clients.

Evidence of a demonstrable track record of successfully delivering challenging projects/programmes.

Experience working in a delivery leadership role within an agency or consultancy environment.

Experience managing teams, with accountability for the work of 10+ onshore staff.

Strong knowledge of modern software engineering practice (SDLC) and awareness of technical approaches and trends.

An interest in technology and how things are created.

Softwire operates transparent pay scales with generous compensation. These engineering positions will need to be on site in central London 4 days per week.

Base salary from £50,600-£78,800 depending on your background and how many years of relevant experience you have.

Pension: Additional 5% of salary.
