Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SC cleared SAP Solution Architect with deep expertise in SAP Human Resources (HR/HCM/SuccessFactors) and SAP Finance (FI/CO) solution, to lead the Discovery Phase for our public sector client. The successful candidate will lead the design, integration, and implementation of enterprise-wide SAP solutions that support critical HR and Finance business processes. This role requires strong technical and functional knowledge, strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and the ability to align SAP capabilities with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Architecture & Design

  • Define and maintain the SAP enterprise architecture roadmap across HR and Finance domains.

  • Design end-to-end SAP solutions that support business transformation initiatives and operational excellence.

  • Ensure solution designs align with enterprise architecture standards, security requirements, and industry best practices.

  • Lead architecture reviews and provide governance throughout project life cycles.

SAP HR & Finance Expertise

  • Provide subject matter expertise in SAP HR/HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, Payroll, Time Management, and Employee Central solutions.

  • Lead architecture and design activities across SAP Finance modules including FI, CO, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Treasury, and Financial Planning.

  • Support global HR and Finance process harmonisation and standardisation initiatives.

  • Recommend innovative SAP capabilities to improve business performance and user experience.

Integration & Technology Leadership

  • Design and oversee integrations between SAP HR, Finance, and third-party systems.

  • Collaborate with technical teams on Middleware, APIs, cloud integrations, and data migration strategies.

  • Ensure seamless data flow between HR, Finance, reporting, and enterprise applications.

Stakeholder Management

  • Partner with HR, Finance, IT, and executive stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP solutions.

  • Facilitate workshops, architecture discussions, and solution demonstrations.

  • Provide strategic guidance to business leaders on SAP roadmap and technology investments.

Project Delivery & Governance

  • Lead solution architecture activities across SAP implementation, upgrade, migration, and transformation projects.

  • Support project estimation, planning, risk management, and quality assurance.
    Review functional and technical specifications to ensure alignment with architectural standards.

  • Mentor SAP consultants, developers, and solution analysts.

Required Qualifications

  • Extensive hands-on experience with SAP HR/HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, and SAP Finance (FI/CO).

  • Proven experience designing enterprise-scale SAP solutions and integrations.

  • Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture and transformation programs.

  • Experience with SAP integration technologies, APIs, Middleware platforms, and cloud solutions.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP Solution Architect certification and/or relevant SAP module certifications.

  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, Payroll, and Talent Management.

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations or migrations.

  • Knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps delivery methodologies.
