Building great relationships and winning confidence of officers and managers, partners and other important stakeholders is essential to this role, so you will need excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will need to produce clear reports.
You will work with services across the organisation to define the reason why change is necessary, identify options for improvement and redesign, to map what the current and future states look like, capture requirements through gap analysis, identifying benefits and applying the corporately adopted transformation methodology.
You will work as part of a team with the Senior Business Analyst to shape the Business Analyst functions and apply high quality analysis.
You will be expected to have knowledge and experience in applying a range of business analysis and improvement techniques, including LEAN, you will also need good Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to analyze data. You will be required to understand how to use the Engage Process Tool for process mapping and customer journeys.
Applicants should be comfortable modelling cost savings attached to processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and communicating these findings effectively with stakeholders.
A willingness to learn new skills is also expected, including PowerBI, Power Automate and other Microsoft Products.
A proven track record in delivering results under pressure is essential. You will be confident in taking a dynamic and collaborative approach to help Bradford Council achieve its organisational priorities.
