Junior Back End Engineer

We are looking for bright and enthusiastic graduates to join our R&D team in Edinburgh. As a software engineer you will work on research, design, testing and delivery of features across our entire product range, contributing to our cloud based video security solution.

• Research and design new features and solutions.
• Develop and test software components.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver high quality releases.
• Participate in code reviews, continuous integration, and deployment processes.

• Strong enthusiasm to learn new technologies, especially Go but also any of the following: Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript, HTML, or CSS.
• Previous experience designing, developing, and consuming REST APIs.
• Understanding of network security concepts such as SSL/TLS and other cryptography.
• Appreciation for test driven development, continuous integration/deployment, and Kanban workflows.
• Experience using version control (Git) in a team environment.
• Experience developing for machine learning or computer vision is an advantage.
• Excellent academic results or demonstration of outstanding technical skills.
• Proficiency in English.
