We're a digital insurance provider with ambitious plans to become the best and biggest in the UK market. Our CIO team drives innovation and ensures technology infrastructure supports our goals. We nurture a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement. The CIO team plays a crucial role in enhancing digital presence and customer engagement across a wide customer base.

What you will be doing:
  • Partner with Product and Digital leadership to shape options, validate feasibility and ensure decisions are rooted in user, business and technical insight.

  • Turn strategy into delivery by collaborating with architects, UX/UI designers, product owners and engineering teams to develop practical, scalable digital solutions.
  • Influence programme direction by managing scope, prioritisation, sequencing, risks, dependencies and integration points across complex digital portfolios.
  • Build and develop a high performing BA community, coaching BAs, maintaining analysis standards, supporting recruitment and onboarding, and championing continuous improvement.
  • Embed a data driven, user centred mindset using design thinking and experimentation to ensure solutions are measurable, insight led and focused on user value.
What we're looking for:
  • Extensive digital business analyst experience across all phases of the software delivery lifecycle.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills and a methodical, curious mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, able to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Confident leader and coach with experience developing and supporting BA teams (around ten BAs).
  • Effectiveness at influencing senior stakeholders, especially in ambiguous or high pressure situations.
  • Experience in Agile (SAFe or similar) and comfortable with traditional delivery methods.
  • Calm, outcome focused approach, maintaining stability when challenges arise.
  • Familiarity with backlog management tools such as Jira or Octane and knowledge of digital platforms or app based journeys.
  • High learning agility, staying current with emerging tools and industry trends and sharing knowledge with the BA community.
What we offer:
  • Attractive salary based on experience, car allowance and a competitive bonus scheme.
  • Flexible and hybrid working arrangements.
  • Physical wellbeing support through a healthcare cash plan.
  • Financial wellbeing benefits, including life assurance cover, income protection, a pension contribution match of up to 10% and an award winning benefits package with discounts and cashback.
  • Inclusive and equitable working environment - we welcome applications from all suitably skilled persons regardless of gender, age, race, disability, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation or family status. Reasonable adjustments are available during the recruitment process.
  • Robust reference checks, including credit and criminal record checks.
