Role Overview

Our immediate requirement is for an experienced AV Technician to be a key part of our London team, representing proAV, taking full responsibility for being the client focal point for all day to day operational issues relating to the AV service and events; responsible for ensuring all faults are resolved and AV/VC schedules are managed, you will need to liaise effectively with the IT & facilities teams. The role will include but not be limited to monthly reporting to the facilities team, including performance and achievements, also any new directives set by the client. An enthusiastic approach and customer service focus is an essential requirement of this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the scheduling, setup and monitoring of all VC activity for the client, managing all aspects of the Video Calls from initial booking through to the monitoring and completion of all calls including scheduling and full systems operational testing prior to any high profile events with the service.
  • Responsible for all the meeting rooms/ AV equipment and clients based across 3 buildings in the Liverpool street area of London.
  • Provide service delivery across site against pre agreed SLA including day to day support of the AV facilities.
  • Proactively train and support end users as required.
  • Prepare equipment for future events and meetings as required.
  • Provide support on an individual basis to users at all levels of seniority.
  • Attend and remain on station for important events where required.
  • Customer service skills are very important and also the ability to work calmly under pressure and resolve any issues quickly and professionally.
  • Responsible for generating reports on a monthly basis and maintaining database information on certified rooms and technical contacts globally.
  • Carry out daily checks on all equipment in the buildings and give Audio Visual support to other areas of the business when required. This could be setting up PA's or assisting with presentations in meeting rooms.
  • 1st /2nd line repairs.
  • On-going preventative maintenance.
  • Managing consumables & stock levels.
  • Schedule, setup and monitor VC's across the EMEA.
  • Management and support of all meeting room setups.
  • Locate faults and provide resolutions i.e. fix /loan equipment.
  • Proactive daily room equipment checks.
  • Ensure all KPI's are met and SLA's are delivered on time.
  • AV Maintenance.
Hours of Work

40 hours per week, 9 hours a day on a rotational shift basis between 7am-7pm, including an hour unpaid break, Monday-Friday.
