Job Description

Role Overview

DePuy Synthes, a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson, is recruiting an International Data & Analysis (D&A) and Master Data Specialist located in Leeds, UK or Zug, Switzerland. The role focuses on ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and quality of master data across commercial systems and applications, supporting master data governance and compliance with regulations such as GDPR.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and verify the integrity of master data across multiple platforms, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Develop and implement data management strategies that comply with data protection regulations (GDPR and local regulations) while meeting internal business needs.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancement and lead initiatives to implement solutions, including new consent collection approaches and system integrations.
  • Create analytical reports and dashboards using Power BI and Excel to provide insights into key performance metrics and support business decision making.
  • Participate in the implementation of new Master Data Management (MDM) systems, supporting testing, training, and data preparation activities for system migrations and integrations.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, IT, compliance, and other departments to facilitate data alignment and accuracy, ensuring all teams have access to reliable master data.
  • Help establish and implement programs and innovative initiatives for the Data Governance & Master Data area under general supervision.
  • Develop control structures to ensure data accuracy and quality across all upstream and downstream data channels.
  • Maintain commercial customer content, business glossary, data integration, data lineage, and data management activities, ensuring processes for data asset management and issue resolution align with business needs.
  • Apply Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day to day interactions with the team.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Fluency in English.
  • Consent to travel up to 10% of the time.
