Role Overview
This role focuses on strategic data projects to support the FCA's financial crime supervision. You will access unique FCA datasets, perform data analysis, and deliver outputs that help prevent the UK financial sector from facilitating financial crime.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data and supervision capabilities to keep the FCA a leader in financial crime supervision.
- Analyse conduct data using various tools and deliver outputs that meet supervision needs.
- Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists across the FCA, including the Innovation division.
Qualifications
- Minimum: Demonstrated experience as a data analyst or business analyst; experience in creating data visualisation dashboards (e.g., Tableau); proficiency in Excel and advanced SQL or equivalent data analytics tools.
- Essential: Effective communication skills to present analysis outcomes to non technical stakeholders; experience delivering projects to tight deadlines; ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders; demonstrated confidence in leading meetings with senior leaders; ability to prioritise conflicting priorities and deliver results with minimal supervision; collaborative mindset with imaginative, innovative problem solving.
