Job Description

Purpose of the Role

To build and maintain the systems that collect, store, process, and analyse data, such as data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes to ensure that all data is accurate, accessible, and secure.

Accountabilities
  • Build and maintain data architecture pipelines that enable the transfer and processing of durable, complete, and consistent data.
  • Design and implement data warehouses and data lakes that manage appropriate data volumes and velocity while adhering to required security measures.
  • Develop processing and analysis algorithms fit for the intended data complexity and volumes.
  • Collaborate with data scientists to build and deploy machine learning models.

  • Collaborate closely with other functions and business divisions.

Job Description

As a Data Developer, you will help improve process automation for a large-scale programme of loan securitisation. The role requires a good understanding of financial concepts and critical thinking. You will contribute to coding, system design, database design, documentation, and testing of features. You will find answers through documentation, code analysis, data analysis, and discussion with non-technical users.

Day-to-Day Activities
  • Discuss JIRA details with the technical and/or product lead.
  • Commit code and unit tests.
  • Write and execute system test plans and collate test data for review with a business user.
  • Respond to queries from business users on the features you support and propose solutions to emerging issues.
