Job SummaryWe are seeking a visionary Head of IT to lead Apogee's internal IT operations across the UK and Europe. This is a pivotal role for an experienced leader who combines strategic foresight with operational excellence.
Reporting to the IT Director, you will oversee a multi disciplinary team of 13 covering infrastructure, networking, systems administration, end user computing, application development, and service delivery. You will ensure our systems are secure, scalable, and high performing - while driving innovation and alignment with business goals.

Responsibilities:
Execute the internal IT strategy aligned with business and HP technology standards.
Lead technology modernisation initiatives - from cloud adoption to network optimisation.
Oversee IT operations and service delivery across multiple UK and European sites.
Manage budgets, vendors, and performance metrics to ensure operational excellence.
Champion cybersecurity, compliance (ISO 27001, GDPR, Cyber Essentials Plus, NIS2, DORA), and governance.
Develop and mentor a high performing IT team, fostering collaboration and innovation.
Lead key change programmes including ERP implementation, system migrations, and infrastructure transformation.
Partner with HP and senior leaders to identify opportunities for digital enablement and automation.
A typical working pattern is Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:30, with a one hour lunch break. This is a hybrid role with 1 day per week expected in Maidstone.
