Role Overview
The Delegated Underwriting Bordereaux Analyst supports the Bordereaux Manager in delivering end to end bordereaux validation, payment and mapping processing for claims, risk and premium bordereaux across the Delegated Authority Portfolio. The analyst ensures all bordereaux activities follow the Delegated Authority Framework policies, procedures and processes, and provides a professional, efficient, and effective service at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Bordereaux Manager and Senior Bordereaux Analyst with all bordereaux management activities within the framework.
- Ensure regulatory requirements and internal controls, including JSOX, are met.
- Support mapping and processing for claims, risk, and premium bordereaux and act as an SME for bordereaux processing.
- Resolve processing queries and support Underwriters in meeting with Brokers and Coverholders.
- Prepare monthly ELTO reporting and address audit action outcomes.
- Identify root causes of data issues, inform mapping and process changes, and support data quality checks.
- Escalate breaches and reconciliation issues between bordereaux, TRAX, and source systems to appropriate forums.
- Assist the DA Data Analyst with data queries and return compilation.
- Maintain accurate and timely reporting and KPIs arising from all activities.
- Act as a key subject matter expert for all bordereaux topics and provide specialist knowledge to clients, Genpact, and internal stakeholders.
- Support the wider DA team and collaborate with DA business partners, Delegated Claims Managers and Underwriters to ensure complete and accurate data processing.
- Ensure personal and sensitive data is managed in compliance with regulatory and legal requirements, in line with MSAUL's policies.
- Maintain high standards, accountability, and professional conduct in line with MSAUL's Conduct Rules and Values.
Qualifications
- Experience in a similar role.
- Experience with claims bordereaux is advantageous.
