Responsibilities
- Comply with all P&E, Operations and HSE&Q principles, policies and procedures (e.g., GOIMS, P&E Governance, Lessons Learned).
- Ensure all modifications are undertaken in accordance with the Brownfield Modifications Process.
- Brownfield Modification (BFM) lifecycle:
- Interfacing with the onshore and offshore Operations Leadership Team to identify key improvement opportunities and ensuring that all opportunities receive the appropriate level of assessment, scrutiny and endorsement from key stakeholders.
- After BFM approval in the Feasibility stage, write the Statement of Requirements (SOR) that defines the operational requirement and benefits, reviewed by technical authorities for comment.
- Provide input to cost estimates, operations, engineering contractor and integrated plans.
- Ensure the engineering contractor basis of design has captured requirements from the statement of requirements.
- Capture any changes as the scope develops, ensuring they still meet the SOR requirements and update the SOR as necessary.
- Maintain detailed and accurate schedule with critical path activities; focus on critical activities within operations and contractor schedules, and ensure offshore operations resource requests are assessed and planned with input from the Head of Operations and Maintenance Manager.
- Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications.
- Progress all BFMs through the Feasibility, Select and Define stages, supported by the BFM team; participate in the development of long term planning (5 year plan) and the annual worklist and budget.
- Identify operational risks and opportunities, raise TQs to initiate brownfield modifications, act as operations focal point for all TQs, facilitate monthly TQ review meetings within Operations and involving P&E as appropriate. Operations representative for Interface between Operations, Projects & Engineering and Engineering Contractor.
- Participate in engineering contractor performance (KPIs) meetings.
- Contribute to cost reviews, spend forecasting and estimating with the Brownfield Modification Project Engineer and Cost Engineer.
- Proactively contribute to effective collaboration across internal and external stakeholder groups.
Experience & Qualifications
- Projects and engineering background with strong operation exposure.
- Preferably Degree qualified with relevant experience in both projects and operations.
- Demonstrate commitment to safety, led by example.
- Current working knowledge of Project Management, guidance and legislation as applied by an E&P operator in the UK.
- Excellent and efficient organisational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt.
- Ability to work on own initiative with self imposed quality control standards.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
