As a Staff Content Designer, you'll work across a broad portfolio of products at the heart of Google's business. You'll be the first content designer on the team and have a high degree of autonomy to shape how the function operates, balancing strategic leadership with visible impact. As part of a new UX leadership team, you'll help shape ways of working across a rapidly growing UX team. You'll shape product experiences through a user-centered lens while driving impact on key business goals. You'll be responsible for demonstrating how strategic content design leads to tangible results in end-to-end journeys and conversational AI experiences alike. We view this role as essential to our product strategy, requiring a content designer who thrives on the responsibility of moving the needle through their work and lifting up those around them.
User experience is at the forefront of how we create intuitive, innovative, and beautiful products that people love. We strive to learn and understand our users' needs, behaviors, and emotions to gather insights that inform product strategy and design. Our UX teams include designers, researchers, content strategists, and engineers who are passionate about quality, usability, and simplicity. We work on collaborative teams to solve complex challenges and craft experiences that highlight our products' unique capabilities and personalities. Our work touches billions while exemplifying a key principle that is core to Google's philosophy: "Focus on the user and all else will follow."
