About the RoleEnable is a dynamic and vibrant organisation dedicated to improving the lives of people with additional support requirements, and we are looking for a motivated Junior BI Developer (Power BI) to join our Digital Team. The Digital Team supports Enable across three key areas: Infrastructure and Data, Change, and Service Desk. This role will sit within the Infrastructure and Data area, helping to build Enable's data and reporting capability across the organisation.
This is a development opportunity for someone with a strong interest in data, reporting and Power BI who wishes to build a career in data engineering. Initially, the role will focus on developing, maintaining and modernising Power BI reports and dashboards, improving legacy reports, and supporting the delivery of our reporting backlog.
The post holder will help prepare, cleanse, structure and document data so that managers and operational teams can access reliable information in a clear and consistent format. The role is not about making business decisions on behalf of managers, but about ensuring the data and reporting outputs are accurate, understandable and fit for purpose.
Over time, the successful candidate will gain exposure to Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, data pipelines and wider data engineering concepts, working closely with the current Data Engineer and wider Digital Team.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, solving practical reporting problems, improving existing reports and developing their skills in a supportive technical environment.
QualificationsWe are looking for someone who is curious, detail-focused and keen to develop a career in data and reporting. You do not need to be an experienced Data Engineer, but you should have a genuine interest in working with structured data and building reliable reporting outputs for business users.
It would be beneficial, but not essential, if you have experience or awareness of:
Most importantly, we are looking for someone with the right mindset: someone who is willing to learn, asks good questions, takes care with accuracy, and wants to grow into a data engineering career over time.
