We're looking for an experienced Endpoint Management Specialist to join our End User Services team and play a key role in supporting and evolving a large-scale, enterprise Windows device estate.Job title:Endpoint Management SpecialistJob Description:What We're Looking ForProven experience in a similar endpoint management or EUC role, ideally within a large, complex enterprise environmentStrong hands-on experience with Altiris, Intune, and/or SCCM (Altiris experience is highly desirable)Solid understanding of Windows endpoint environments and device lifecycle managementStrong technical troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skillsA good working knowledge of TCP/IP networking, including VLANs, proxies, firewalls, and subnetsExperience working on organised project activity alongside BAU supportClear and confident written and verbal communication skillsComfortable working collaboratively across technical and service teamsYou'll be responsible for the support, maintenance, and continuous improvement of endpoint management platforms that manage circa 100,000 end-user devices, ensuring stability, security, and compliance across the environment. This is a hands-on technical role, ideal for someone who can hit the ground running and enjoys working across modern and legacy endpoint technologies.What You'll Be DoingSupporting and maintaining enterprise endpoint management platforms, including Symantec CMS (Altiris), Microsoft Intune, and Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM)Owning the Windows device lifecycle, from build and configuration through to patching, upgrades, and retirementActing as a technical escalation point, following structured fault resolution and incident processesDelivering software deployment, endpoint security controls, vulnerability remediation, and patch complianceSupporting project and change delivery, including platform upgrades and service improvementsIdentifying opportunities to standardise, optimise, and automate endpoint management processesProducing and maintaining technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articlesCreating and executing system test plans to support change and release activityCollaborating closely with wider service teams and Lines of Service to ensure client and operational requirements are metJoin Capita - Where Innovation Meets OpportunityCapita is a dynamic leader in consulting and digital services, helping some of the UK's most recognised organisations transform and thrive.
