Mobile Engineer Material Handling Equipment Location: North West About the Company
A well-established, family-owned material handling business with a strong heritage dating back to the 1980s. Continued growth means they are now looking to expand their engineering team.
The Role
This is a field-based position for a multi-skilled Mobile Forklift Engineer, covering primarily South Cheshire and Stoke.
You'll be responsible for attending customer sites to service, maintain, and repair a range of material handling equipment, including forklifts and access equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintenance, and repair of gas, diesel, and electric forklifts
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
- Attending breakdowns and carrying out on-site repairs
- Building strong relationships with customers
- Managing your own workload efficiently across multiple sites
The Package
- £30,000 - £40,000 (DOE)
- Company van + fuel card (personal use option available)
- Door-to-door pay
- Overtime paid at 1.5x

About You
- Experience working on forklifts or similar material handling equipment
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
- Comfortable working independently in a mobile role
- Full UK driving licence
- Positive, reliable, and customer-focused attitude
