Job Description

Role Overview and Responsibilities

Test & or Inspect & record manufactured or repaired product to internal or external test specifications to a high degree of accuracy with the aid of ATE, or long hand test equipment.

This role is for 39 hours over 4 days - Monday to Thursday.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test & or Inspect product in a timely manner in line with expected costed time restraints.
  • Complete Test or Inspection tasks within a Quality Accredited environment, in accordance with both General Manufacturing and Aerospace controls.
  • The role requires a zero tolerance to defects.
  • Proactive outlook on an improvements culture with a view of continuous improvement.
  • Work within a zero harm culture.
Qualifications, Skills and Attributes Core Requirements
  • Proven track record of Safety and working as a willing, competent member of a team.
  • Willingness to undertake annual Eye Examination & colour blindness checks.
  • Flexible in approach, with willingness to learn new skills.
  • Undertake learning programmes such as IPC 610/620 ISO quality controls as necessary.
  • Close attention to detail, in terms of adhering accurately to internal specifications/test programmes and or customer specifications/drawings test specs.
  • Ability to work in an orderly manner and organised in a 6S environment.
  • Zero defects right first-time attitude.
  • Able to work to required Key Point Indicators (KPI) with respect to quality of work, performance & output.
  • Identifying & raising problems to the team (immediate/Wider).
  • Working closely with the immediate/wider team to support OTTP delivery within a Zero Defects culture.
  • Highlighting quality issues where required.
  • Travel may be required to support business needs.
