UX/UI Designer (Contract)
£450 per day (Inside IR35) Hemel Hempstead (2 days onsite)
We're hiring a UX/UI Designer on a 6-month contract to support a global, data-heavy SaaS platform. This is a hands on role focused on turning user insights into clear, well structured UI - particularly across dashboards and complex workflows. You'll work closely with a lead UX and product team, with a strong emphasis on Figma, component thinking, and simplifying dense information.

We're partnered with a global organisation operating across multiple international markets, supporting large scale, data driven platforms within a complex supply chain environment.
Their products play a critical role in how systems, data and users interact day to day, with a strong focus on improving usability across dense, operational interfaces. They're currently investing in evolving a core platform, with a focus on simplifying workflows and improving how users engage with large volumes of data.
The Role
This is a 6-month contract for a UX/UI Designer to support the ongoing development of a complex SaaS platform.
You'll work closely with a Lead UX Designer and a global product team, translating research and insights into clear, scalable interface designs. The role is weighted towards UI and delivery - focusing on crafting high quality designs across dashboards, workflows and data heavy screens.
What you'll be doing
- Translating user research and insights into clear, intuitive UI
- Designing wireframes, high fidelity designs and prototypes in Figma
- Improving usability across complex workflows and data heavy interfaces
- Structuring large volumes of information in a clear and user friendly way
- Contributing to component libraries and design systems
- Collaborating with product, engineering and stakeholders across a global team
- Supporting user facing materials such as guidance or tutorial content
- Analysing user feedback to inform design decisions
What they're looking for
- Experience designing for SaaS or enterprise platforms
- Strong UI and visual design skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Proficiency in Figma (components, prototyping, scalable systems)
- Experience working on dashboards, analytics or data heavy products
- Ability to translate research into structured, well thought out designs
- Comfortable working in stakeholder heavy, structured environments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Nice to have:
- Experience with motion design or After Effects
- Exposure to Salesforce or similar platforms

- £450 per day (Inside IR35)
- 6 month contract
- 2 days per week onsite in Hemel Hempstead, 3 days remote
