Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust (MYTT) is embarking on a major digital transformation through the implementation of the award winning Nervecentre Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system. This transition represents a significant step change in how clinical information is captured, accessed and used across the Trust.
MYTT has an established Digital Systems Team responsible for the management, maintenance, development and operational stability of the Trust's major clinical digital systems. The Digital Systems Manager is a key member of this team and will play a pivotal role in the transition from the legacy systems to the new EPR.
Working trust wide, the post holder provides specialist technical leadership, second line system support and expert advice to clinical and non clinical users, ensuring systems are safe, reliable, compliant and aligned with the Trust's Digital Strategy.
The role involves close collaboration with Digital Services colleagues, system suppliers, clinicians and operational teams, and includes staff management responsibilities, participation in system upgrades and developments, and support for a 24/7 clinical service environment.
