SAP Master Data Solution Architect

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

• Proven experience as an SAP Master Data Solution Architect.
• Extensive SAP Expertise: In-depth knowledge of core SAP systems, including SAP ERP, SAP ECC, and especially SAP S/4HANA and its migration processes.
• Master Data Management (MDM) & Governance: Proven experience in designing and implementing MDM solutions, ensuring data quality, consistency, and compliance with regulations (like GDPR).
• Data Modeling and Architecture: Proficiency in creating conceptual, logical, and physical data models, and designing the overall data infrastructure.
• Business Process Understanding: A strong grasp of end-to-end business processes (eg, Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales, Procurement) and how master data interacts with these functions.
• Integration Technologies: Expertise in seamlessly integrating SAP MDM with various internal and external systems using tools like SAP PIPO, SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), or third-party Middleware.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to analyze complex business problems and technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and devise effective, pragmatic solutions.

Desirable skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) in relation to SAP systems.
• Experience in end-to-end SAP implementation projects (greenfield or brownfield).
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and methodologies for incident and change management.
• Relevant SAP certifications (eg, SAP Certified Technology Associate).
• Familiarity with SAP integration technologies (SAP PI/PO, CPI, APIs).
• Consulting Experience: Previous experience with a top consulting firm or in client-facing roles is a plus.
