About the role
We are looking for a highly practical, hands on AI Adoption Lead to accelerate the internal use of AI across SuperAwesome. While we already have access to powerful general purpose tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Gemini) as well as the AI tools embedded in our enterprise data systems (e.g. Databricks One), adoption across business functions has been uneven, particularly in busy, operational teams where the potential impact is high but time to experiment is low.
This role exists to bridge that gap.
You will work directly with functional leaders across the entire business (e.g. AdOps, Account Management, Sales, People, Finance, Marketing etc) to:
- Identify high impact opportunities for AI driven efficiency
- Rapidly prototype and implement solutions using existing tools
- Embed these solutions into day to day workflows
This is not a strategy only role, you will be expected to get hands on, build, test, and deploy, in partnership with business function leads.
What you'll do in this role Opportunity Identification
- Partner with department leads to understand workflows, bottlenecks, and repetitive tasks
- Translate business problems into clear AI use cases
- Prioritise opportunities based on impact, feasibility, and speed to value
Solution Design & Build
- Design practical solutions using tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, and other no/low code platforms
- Build prototypes quickly (prompt workflows, automations, integrations, lightweight tools)
- Iterate based on real user feedback
Implementation and Adoption
- Embed solutions into existing processes (not just "nice to have" tools)
- Train teams and create simple, usable documentation
- Ensure solutions are actually used, not just built
- Quantify the impact of solutions
Tooling & Landscape Awareness
- Stay up to date with the evolving AI tooling ecosystem and the rapidly developing capabilities of the tools we already have
- Recommend when to use existing tools vs introduce new ones
Internal Enablement
- Develop playbooks, templates, training and reusable workflows for analysis and adoption of AI
- Help build internal confidence and capability around AI usage
- Act as the go to person for "how could AI help here?"
Who you are
- Strong understanding of what modern AI tools can and - importantly - cannot do and a good grasp of what the AI tools market has to offer
- Ability to quickly and empathetically absorb a wide range of unfamiliar business processes
- Comfort building quick, scrappy prototypes and refine
- Excellent communication, able to work with both technical and non technical stakeholders
- Fantastic interpersonal skills, able to build trust with busy functional leaders
- Highly pragmatic and outcome focused
- Comfortable in fast paced environments with a lot of ambiguity
- Bias to action and iteration over perfection
- Background in or experience of digital advertising businesses a significant plus
Core Technical Skills
- Prompt engineering and the application of AI tools to enterprise workflows
- Demonstrable experience with applying tools like ChatGPT, Gemini etc. to add value in SME contexts
- Solid understanding and experience of working with APIs, MCP and integrations as well as solid scripting skills - deeper engineering skills a definite plus
- Data handling skills (Excel/Sheets, SQL, comfortable around data warehouses, Python skills a plus)
