Job Description

Role: Azure Engineer (Managed Services) Manchester (Hybrid) £60,000 + Benefits

We're looking for a skilled Azure Specialist to join a growing Managed Services team based in Manchester. This is a hands-on role where you'll design, implement, and support cloud solutions for a diverse client base, helping businesses modernise and scale using Microsoft Azure.

What you'll be doing:

Designing and deploying Azure-based infrastructure and services Managing and optimising cloud environments for performance, security, and cost-efficiency Supporting client migrations to Azure (on-prem to cloud) Monitoring systems, troubleshooting issues, and providing proactive improvements Working closely with clients to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions Contributing to automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices

What we're looking for:

Strong experience with Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, networking, storage) Solid understanding of cloud architecture and best practices Experience in a Managed Services or client-facing environment Knowledge of PowerShell, ARM/Bicep, or Terraform Familiarity with security, backup, and disaster recovery in Azure Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Desirable:

Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305) Experience with Microsoft 365, Intune, or hybrid environments Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
