Software Engineer (Java, Spring boot, Microservices)

Location - Fully Remote

Permanent - Full time

Salary - £55,000 - £60,000 

Our client, a people powered digital transformation company are hiring for a senior software engineer responsible for the designing & developing high quality software solutions.

This is an opportunity to work with cutting edge technology and fully remote!

Working on complex software projects that will contribute to the architecture further development & improvements of software systems.

Responsibilities: -

• Design, develop & maintain complex software solutions to ensure they are robust, secure, tested & scalable.
• Mentor, support, develop and promote the skills and best practices of junior engineers.
• Conduct code reviews, providing feedback to the team that will enhance performance and quality.
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to ensure the software runs smoothly and efficiently.
• Engage in early-stage project discussions, providing tech insights and recommendations.
• Contribute to software architecture decisions, to ensure alignment with business & project goals.

Essential skills and experience required: -

• Proven experience in full stack development software, including design, development, testing & deployment.
• Hands on experience with Java, Spring boot & Microservices.
• Experience with AWS/JavaScript/React
