Full Stack Engineer (Front End Bias) - Contract

Day Rate: £450-£500 (Inside IR35)

Location: Cambridgeshire/Leicestershire (Hybrid, 2-3 days on site per week)

Duration: 6 months initial (long term)

Tech Stack: Front-React, Back-Desirable (C#, .net, node)

A leading global enterprise is seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer to join their engineering team. You'll play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying high-quality software solutions used across a large-scale, mission-critical environment. This is an opportunity to work within a modern tech stack, contribute to new feature development, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, innovative setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack applications.
  • Develop high-quality Front End interfaces using React.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions.
  • Collaborate with product owners, designers, and other engineers to deliver robust solutions.
  • Ensure code quality, performance, and security best practices are followed.
  • Support deployment processes and CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong commercial experience as a Full Stack Engineer.
  • Proficiency in React for Front End development.
  • Experience with at least one Back End technology: C#, .NET, or Node.js.
  • Solid understanding of modern software engineering principles.
  • Experience working in agile, collaborative environments.
  • Ability to work on-site 2-3 days per week in Cambridgeshire/Leicestershire.

Nice to Have

  • Contribute to Back End services using C#, .NET, or Node.js (experience with one or more is desirable).
  • Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • CI/CD tooling exposure.
  • Experience working within large enterprise environments.
