The role: Software Developer

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum

Location: Ludlow (2 days on site initially)

VIQU IT are currently working with a well-established SaaS organisation undergoing an exciting period of modernisation and transformation. As part of this growth, they are looking to hire a mid to senior level Software Engineer/Developer to play a key role in the design and delivery of new features across the full stack (front & Back End and database).

Job duties of the Software Developer:

• Design, build and maintain application and functionalities across database, Back End and Front End.
• Work with internal stakeholders to review requirements and suggest improvements.
• Implement software security measures, ensuring user data is protected.
• Work with the QA and testing teams to participate in code reviews.
• Provide technical input and guidance to commercial teams to support new business opportunities.

Experience needed for the Software Engineer role:

• Hands on experience with C# and.NET
• Exposure to Angular framework
• Hands on experience with SQL Server/database - design, development and optimisation.
• Knowledge of software security design
• Passion of development and artificial intelligence
• Experience of working in a similar Software as a Service organisation is nice to have.
• Exposure to Azure, ASP.NET MVC, Razor, and DevOps are all very nice to have additions.
