Information Governance Assurance Manager

Summer-Browning Associates is currently supporting our healthcare client, who is seeking an Information Governance Assurance Manager for an initial three-month assignment with the option to extend.

Location: Hybrid working - Norwich

About the role: You will be responsible for assuring that the clients information governance policies and supporting processes across the organisation, collectively provide adequate and cost-effective information governance outcomes

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in delivery Information Governance Assurance support, with the following skills and experience:

• Experience of managing Information Governance risk-based improvement programmes.
• Experience of developing Information Governance policies and processes in a complex environment.
• Extensive knowledge of data protection processes, including statutory requirements and national policy.
• Knowledge of the Data Security and Protection Toolkit (or equivalent standards)
• Experience of setting up and implementing internal policies, processes and procedures.
