A practical understanding of ITIL 4 and its application in agile service delivery environments. Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Summer-Browning Associates is currently assisting our Central Government client in seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer for an initial six-month assignment. Location: Milton Keynes Hybrid The ideal candidate will hold active SC Clearance and have a proven background in Azure Cloud engineering, demonstrating the following skills and experience: Proficiency in Azure Services, particularly in building and migrating applications and services to public cloud platforms. Expertise in the operation and deployment of DevSecOps tools, along with the development of infrastructure as code using Terraform or Bicep. A strong understanding of cloud security principles and Zero Trust architectures. Familiarity with NCSC, GDS, and UK government security frameworks-such as Secure by Design, Cloud Security Principles, and Government Functional Standards. The following skills and experiences are essential for this role: Proven hands-on experience in the implementation and management of PAM toolkits. Experience in defining cloud strategies, architecture standards, and governance policies. Ability to lead the automation of infrastructure deployment and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools. Deep understanding of cloud networking, identity, security, resilience, and platform engineering. Proven ability to lead technical design initiatives across multiple domains, including Data, Digital, Security, and other technical areas.
