Senior Software Developer

Pay 475 a day

3 month rolling contract

ECS Resource Group are currently working in partnership with a global managed service provider, assisting them with the search for a Software Developer on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be working with a Telecoms end client across various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and enhance a secure application using a modern stack (React frontend, Node.js backend, and supporting Python services).
• Integrate automated API security testing workflows into the platform, ensuring reliability and accuracy of results.
• Develop a centralised dashboard to consolidate scan results, including history tracking, filtering, reporting, and alerting capabilities.
• Package and configure the application for seamless integration into automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Prepare the solution for cloud deployment on AWS, ensuring scalability, security, and readiness for demonstration environments.

Key Skills/Experience:

• Advanced proficiency in one or more core technologies such as React, Node.js, Python, and CI/CD scripting.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Solid understanding of secure software development practices, including OWASP guidelines and threat modelling.
• Proven ability to produce high-quality technical artefacts such as architectural diagrams, ADRs, design documentation, and runbooks.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub-based version control and building intuitive, responsive user interfaces.
