Traffic Analyst
We are seeking a dedicated Traffic Analyst to join our team, reporting directly to the Traffic Manager. This role involves undertaking all service routing updates for two trade areas within the company, acting as a focal point for our colleagues globally. The Traffic Analyst will work closely with all European stakeholder regions to achieve the trade's budget objectives.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Undertake all service routing updates for two trade areas within the company, serving as a focal point for global colleagues.
- Deliver all traffic reports, providing detailed output in a timely manner, highlighting trends or changes in line with seasonality and operational changes.
- Ensure that space settlements with our partners are completed accurately and promptly.
- Lead the analysis of booking trends, seasonality, and regional performance to help ensure that our business plan targets are met.
- Oversee the traffic process manuals, keeping them updated with current procedures or changes.
- Regularly review reports and improve them as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Ability to work as part of a close team, but also independently with decision-making capabilities.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A keen interest in numbers with excellent numerate and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of European geography.
- Inquisitive nature to understand how our vessel container flows work.
- Proficiency in Excel and experience using Power BI.
