We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team in Bromley.

Role Description

  • Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure
  • Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
  • Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
  • Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and 'fixes'
  • Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended


The Team

The DevOps Engineering team is responsible for global Equities OMS / EMS applications' in terms of automating a process for development, build, testing, and deployment. The team is still in a process of shaping up, and currently has 2 resources in USA.

In this team, the candidate will be primarily supporting EMEA and APAC regions with an exposure to IT and Business resources.

Core skills - Required and Preferred

  • BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
  • Experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
  • Proficient with git and git workflows
  • Good knowledge of Python or Java
  • Working knowledge of databases and SQL
  • Problem-solving attitude
  • Collaborative team spirit
