R&D Tech strive to deliver products and services to our R&D customers that meet the needs of the business whilst being efficient, effective and satisfying to use. We are seeking motivated talent interested in solving problems, improving existing patterns and finding innovative solutions for new use cases and features. With this exciting opportunity you will be part of a team supporting business outcomes for Clinical Trials Supplies products.

In this role, the candidate will directly report to the Product Owner, and interact with the business as well as our technical team, including architects and engineers. The goal is to work closely with the Product Owner and other members of the product team, with a clear focus on delivering value quickly while helping to steer the product area towards business- and user-centred improvements within agile ways of working.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
  • Primary responsibility is to drive requirements gathering, definition and translating them into insights-focused solutions
  • Lead the development of new features user requirements, solution mockup, prototypes by collaborating with Product owner, Agile Facilitator to develop deployment plans
  • Document, communicate business requirements and work closely with the development team to ensure an accurate understanding of the business deliverable and implementation
  • Facilitate discussions with business partners to understand current and future state business process / requirements
  • Maintain data catalog and use case library for assigned products
  • Innovate new consumer experiences, produce design solutions using sketches, wireframes
  • Optimizing the delivery of business value through business partnering, process improvement, user research and user-centred design
  • Driving process optimization through process modelling and service design, taking into consideration the product strategy and system and data landscapes.
  • Engaging with the R&D Tech UX & Design Team to support the maturity of UX and Design across R&D Tech, specifically working with other UX practitioners and sharing experiences.
  • Keeping up with internal and external trends in your product area, including mobile, wearables and social media.

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
  • Bachelor's degree (IT) or Master's degree in computer science, Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of prior working experience in business analysis in Pharma or related area
  • Prior experience with driving the development of proof of concept, working in matrix environment, and eliciting requirements for dynamic products
  • Expertise in user centered design principles and best practices

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
  • Deep understanding of data management best practices
  • Experience in Agile ways of working
  • Experience of Pharmaceuticals processes and systems (Tech in the Pharma industry)
  • Strong creativity, problem solving, collaboration, communication, attention to detail and presentation skills
  • Experience with creating dashboards and Data Visualization and Business Intelligence tools (ex: Power BI)
  • The position involves a large amount of influencing and communication to individual contributors, lower/mid-management, and external partners across the Organization to apply product analysis and design in a business context with deep analytical and meaningful insights
